Mountain Scholars Heritage School

In partnership with parents and guided by the Gospel, Mountain Scholars strives to provide students with an excellent Christian and classical education.

Mountain Scholars is a Christian, hybrid, academic ministry of the Church of South Siskiyou County, blending the best parts of homeschooling with the best parts of classroom education.  Our team of passionate and well-prepared teachers provide half day instruction Monday-Thursday in the core subjects of math, phonics, grammar, composition, literature, Latin and Bible.

Mountain Scholars began as a ministry of Mountain Christian Fellowship, and has now grown into a multi-church, community, with partnership, both  in ministry and mission, with First Baptist Church of Mount Shasta. First Baptist hosts our Lower School, with Junior Kindergarten and grades K-3, and Mountain Christian Fellowship hosts our Upper School, grades 4-12.
